School visits

The Kirkcaldy Central mosque is a community organisation. We have an open door policy for anyone wanting to take a tour of the mosque or learn about the Islamic faith. Our open day in February 2016 was warmly received by the community. We had approximately one hundred people attend on the day and they had the opportunity to experience various aspects of Islam.

We welcome schools, Universities, Scout Clubs, Youth Cubs and any other organisation that wants to come and know more about Islam and the Mosque. Our Imams have welcomed schools and Club Scouts in the past and have educated them about the Islamic faith. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact one of our Imams for a booking. So far we were delighted to host a class from Valley Primary School.

Our Imams also do visits to schools as Muslim chaplains when needed. Visits to Balwerie High school and Viewforth High school have been arranged in the past.
